Green Clean!

Are you trying to “go green?”  Do you want to reduce the overall amount of toxic chemicals that are part of your home?  Are you interested in learning how you can make your own at home at a fraction of the cost of buying these products at the store?

Come to HackPittsburgh on Friday, July 22, 2011 to learn how you can make environmentally friendly and non-toxic household cleaners, pest repellents, and lawn and garden products with simple ingredients, most likely with stuff you’ve got around your house.

HackPittsburgh member Susan Speicher will begin the hands-on workshop at 7 PM.  Like all Friday night events, this workshop is free and open to the public.  We’re located at 1936 5th Avenue, in the garage around back on Watson.

Hi! I’m actually the owner of a local business that specializes in doing this very thing! If there is a way we could collaborate in the future, I’d be very excited.

We, Pittsburgh Green Clean, are giving a presentation at Phipps Conservatory on December 3rd at 1:30pm about the benefits of green cleaning and how it’s actually very easy to do at home.

I wish I would have known about this sooner!
