April 15, 2023 – Laser Cutter 101 – Kitchen Conversion Charts
Learn to use a CO2 laser cutter!
Just in time for Mother’s Day, in this class we’ll be creating decorative kitchen conversion charts that make the perfect gift for your mother (or favorite mother figure!).
This class is designed for students who have never operated a laser cutter before or beginners who want some practice. In this class students will learn to use a CO2 laser cutter. Skills taught are how to load pre-formatted images into Lightburn, how to format the image for cutting versus etching, and physical operation of the laser cutter. At the end, each participant will have a project to take home and the skills to come back and create new masterpieces of their own! There are several designs to choose from!
After each student has completed their project and if there are leftover materials, they may make a second conversion chart for an additional $15.
