HackPittsburgh at Unblurred
For this week’s Friday Night event, we are taking a field trip! Instead of being at the shop, HackPittsburgh will be showing off some of our projects at the TeeRex Studio at 5440 Penn Ave from 6 – 9pm on Friday during the Unblurred: First Fridays on Penn studio crawl. The shop will be closed, so this is the perfect opportunity to come check us out, as well as to check out the Unblurred events and activities. This month’s Unblurred also happens to coincide with, and is a part of, the Geek Arts/Green Innovators (GA/GI) festival, a celebration of the creative spirit that binds the eco, art and technology industries.
What is Unblurred? From their website: Various galleries in the Penn Avenue Arts District (4800-5500 Penn Avenue) will open their doors and showcase a variety of artwork and performances. Guests will experience new art and meet the most eclectic array of art makers, old and young, modern and classical, famous and amateur, emerging and veteran, all within walking distance of each other.
In other words, this Friday is the ideal chance to explore some of the artists, makers, and studios that Pittsburgh’s Penn Ave Arts District has to offer. While you are out there, be sure to stop by TeeRex studios and say hello to HackPittsburgh!
