This Friday at HackPittsburgh: Seed Bombs

A seed bomb

Join us at HackPittsburgh this Friday, April 30th at 7 PM and get your hands dirty making seed bombs.

Seed bombs are compact clusters of wildflower seeds and compost that can be tossed into vacant lots, median strips, or your own back yard. Ever wanted to try your hand at guerrilla gardening? Now is your chance. We’ll provide the raw materials.

Like all Friday events at HackPittsburgh, this hands-on maker event is open to the public! If you’ve never been to HackPittsburgh before, we’re located at 1936 5th Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA. The entrance is around back on Watson Street, next to the big yellow garage door. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and we’ll start getting dirty around 7. Hope to see you there!
